Are You Curious About Hannah George?

Among the 3,000 students in this school, The Blue and White would like to introduce Hannah George. You may have seen her campaign for SGA President, playing volleyball on the court, or just around campus even. We had a chance to interview her and get a closer look at her life. Hannah was born on November 17th, in New York. During her free time she enjoys playing volleyball and hanging out with friends. One of her best accomplishments would have to be her grades because, “it’s nice to see my hard work paying off.” She would say that her best personality trait is that she’s hardworking. She strives to work hard in everything she does, whether it be academics or athletics. “I try my best to do every task that is given to me with most effort I can.” Her plan for after high school is to go to UCF to study biomedical sciences. It’s always been her dream since she was a kid to become a doctor. What she wants to do exactly is still up in the air, but she’s excited to figure it out!

Do you enjoy attending Apopka High School? Why or why not?

I do enjoy attending Apopka High. My high school years were my first time attending public school as I attended a charter school. The adjustment was pretty big but I came to really enjoy Apopka and I love all the friends and teachers I met here. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Do you like to play any sports?

I play volleyball indoors and starting this year I started beach volleyball. I love playing volleyball and I’ve played for 7 years now. Playing beach volleyball this year has been both difficult and fun and I can’t wait to play for my senior year.

What is your best childhood memory?

My best childhood memory was when we got all of my family from around the world in one place. It was so nice to meet everyone and be with everyone in the one place.

What is on your bucket list?

I have a ton of things on my bucket list but the main thing I have on there is to travel. My plan is to travel around the world with my sister sometime.
