Christian Luddy is a senior at APK and is in the robotics club and class. His mother, Mrs. Luddy, is the Accounting and Computer Science teacher. 

What grade are you in?

I’m a senior.

What’s your favorite class this year?

Probably Robotics.

Are you in the robotics club?

It’s kind of a club, kind of a class. We stay after school sometimes to work.

What’s your favorite part of being in the club? What’s your favorite part of being in the robotics club? What do you do?

So I program our team, but it’s really fun to work as a team to build a robot to achieve the task that you need it to do. And it’s fun to just watch it progress and get better over the year.

Do you go to the competitions? 

We do competitions about every other week.

Do you have any plans for what you’re gonna do after high school? Do you want to continue robotics? 

I’m probably just gonna go into computer science, not necessarily robotics itself, but I’m not really sure.

Do you have a college in mind?

I want to go to UF.

What’s your favorite show or movie?

My favorite show is probably Loki

Is there a specific reason you like it? Or is it just entertaining?

Just entertaining.

What hobbies do you have? 

I like to program a lot. I just code random things. And then I also like to play a lot of video games with friends.

What games do you play? 

I play a lot of computer games and just VR games in general

Do you have a career you want to pursue in mind?

I would like to become a game developer, but just pretty much wherever computer science takes me.
