When morale is down, cute pet photos are up! Apopka High School students have several adorable animals with cute names, pictures, and a little fun fact for each.
Sophomore Bug Shebert has three dogs and a cat. Their favorite cat’s name is Nugget who is about 2 years old and has the most beautiful coat Bug has ever seen.
Sophomore August Rice has 3 cats, Penny, Boris, and Daisy. They also have a dog named Gracie. They tend to have silly interactions, like chasing one another around the house.
Sophomore Hannah Moffa has four cats, Harley, Shadow, and Frisky. She also has a dog named Daisy. They tend to fight each other a lot, which can both be sweet and annoying.
Junior Jaden Heard has two dogs, Dexter and Bella, one being 11 and the other about 7. They can be delightful, especially when they are affectionate.
Ms. McDonald has one slithery pet, an albino hognose snake named Tsukisuchi. It’s lovely how grumpy he is all the time, even when it’s annoying.
I have a cat and a dog, my cat’s name is Hazel and the dog’s name is Lola. My cat can be very charming, no matter how dumb she is.
Senior Teddy V. has two beautiful cats, one is a tabby named Olly, and the other is a black cat named Shadow. They can be extremely affectionate and sweet.
Senior Alec Canfield has 11 outstanding pets. The dogs are named: Roxy, Ronin, Remington, Reaper, Rougur, and Athena. Meanwhile, the cats are Skyler, Siris the virus, Trinity, Tanis, and Tori. They vary in ages but all are dogs and cats.
Junior Olivia Horn has a giant family of 9 animals. She has 3 dogs named Teddy, Scamp, and Dixie. As well as having 6 cats named Sophe, Gracie, Kibin, Topaz, Jenny, and China. Although they’re loud, they tend to be comforting.
Junior Beyonce Castro has so many animals it’s hard to keep track of them all, having four goats, three ponies, and a bunch of chickens and ducks. She says it’s so interesting to see each of them have unique personalities, no matter how stinky they are.
Unfortunately, Junior Charlie Kemp had two hamsters who passed away. One was named Emmy, and the other was Marcy. They were super fluffy and loud. Rest in peace
