It is now November, so Thanksgiving is upon us. There are multiple clubs collecting items to help out in our community, and The Blue and White encourages you to pitch in.

How this will help the community:
“It will help keep the food pantry shelves stocked during the holidays for those in need and help them have a happier holiday this season.”
How YOU can donate:
“Bring cans to Ms. Bercegeay’s room. I am in room 515.”
NHS’ Goal:
“1000 or more cans”
How they are going to reach their goal:
“Each member has been given a goal of five cans per member.”

How this will help the community:
“We hope that our drive will address food insecurity and provide families with a beautiful holiday experience without having to worry about footing a large bill.”
How YOU can donate:
There will be donation bins where you can bring the listed food. The list will be sent out via announcement on Canvas.

“As many as possible”
How they are going to reach their goal:
They are still in the planning stage however, Ms. Wallace stated, “We are gathering intel about families in need and making contact with them to see if there’s a desire to receive a meal kit. Once we have a solid list, we can make the official posters with the inventory requests on them and start reaching out to local businesses and vendors to potentially sponsor or partner with us.”
