Get Gains Like Lorenzo Paine
Out of the 3,000 students at High School, The Blue and White decided to interview a junior, Lorenzo Paine. What’s so special about him you may ask? We asked a few questions ourselves to see just that.
Lorenzo grew up in Apopka, so he enjoys it here at Apopka High. In his free time he likes to workout and play games. He also partakes in playing football and track. We asked Lorenzo if he had a phrase or saying he lived by and he replied, “I don’t really live by a phrase [but] more like a Bible verse, Psalms 18:2, ‘The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.'”
We also asked how he would describe himself, he replied, “I would describe myself as a funny, humble, and kind hearted person.” Something Lorenzo is passionate about is his sports. One of his greatest accomplishments would be making his All-state championship team. Something he wished people understood about him is that he’s not a mean person even though people say he looks like one. His family is his motivation to keep going. Lorenzo plans to go college to play sports, but he is still undecided about what he wants to major in.
It’s looking like a bright future for Lorenzo Paine. The Blue and White enjoyed getting to know him. Maybe next time we’ll get to know you.
