Out of the 3,000 students going to Apopka High we have decided to get to know senior, Cristo Rojo. Cristo is is on our Apopka volleyball team and is very passionate about it due to their being a different thing to learn at any skill level and playing with my friends on both sides of the court. He does plan to go on to play for college, and he has gotten offers from some already including, Rockford in Illinois and Erskine in South Carolina.  He also would have to choose family over friends because he needs people in his life to be his “anchor,” and his sister and parents are always there. He would also say in the future, he envisions himself with a family, business degree and teaching his kids to play volleyball. He also does not find being a senior and dedicated volleyball player stressful but he says it may be stressful if they don’t know how to handle it but it is possible.

What are your plans after high school?

I want to play volleyball in college and get a major degree in business.

What do you like to do with your free time?

I like to play more volleyball, it’s all I really want to do.

Would you say you’re more of an extrovert or introvert? Why is that?

Extrovert because I wouldn’t be where I am today without getting myself out there and making friends.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

Japan, because it sounds fun and is a completely different culture.

What would you say are your top 3 favorite things to watch?

My favorite things to watch would be Attack on Titan, college volleyball, and Disney movies.
