Getting to Know Ms. West
Ms. West is the newest Assistant Principal at Apopka High School. She is a Central Florida native, graduating from Dr. Phillips High School. Later, she earned a Bachelor’s degree at Seminole State, and a Master’s from the American College of Education. She is passionate and driven, and is a great addition to our School administration. Are there any clubs/activities around campus that you are planning to get involved in?
Being a former FFA student, probably FFA. Beta Club has invited me to attend some stuff, so I may get involved in that. I think I will try to be present and involved in as many activities as I can, just to support all of our students.
What 3 words best describe you?
Loyal, Charismatic, Honest.
What do you do in your spare time outside of school?
As an adult, sleeping, because that is a luxury, whitewater rafting, and skiing.
What message do you have to Seniors who are about to graduate in a few months?
Enjoy it while you can, because becoming an adult is overrated. Enjoy all of the festivities, do what you want to do, within reason, but enjoy the freedom of being in high school, because you will miss it when you become an adult.
