Giahnie Germain, Staff Writer
Hello, my name is Giahnie Germain this is my second year on The Blue and White as a senior staff writer. I joined the newspaper because I enjoy meeting new people. It doesn’t matter who it is whether it’s the fashion club or the wrestling team. I like seeing a whole new world and perspective. If you knew me, you would know that I’m very spontaneous. I like to pick up different hobbies or clubs on the whim and The Blue and White was one of those. I’ve done ballet, chorus, jazz, hip hop, piano, theater, gymnastics, band, karate, and currently volleyball. You name it I’ve probably done it or at least tried it out. I also joined The Blue and White because I heard Mrs. Houvouras was teaching it. I remember seeing her room every once in a while and wishing I had that teacher. I love when I can tell a teacher is passionate about their students and knows how to teach well just by looking at their room. A little more about me personally is that I’m the oldest child of three. Meaning I have two little brothers. I also love food, especially pasta, fritters, and Haitian rice. I like going to the beach with my friends and last but not least I want to make the most of my last year here at Apopka High School.
