The Blue and White interviewed a well-known upcoming senior here at Apopka High School, Jhenelle Francis. We talked to her about her favorites, her plans after high school, and her high school experience.
What grade are you in?
11th grade.
What is your favorite class this year?
Between APArt History, AP Calculus, or AP Lang.
Are you in any clubs or do you do any extracurricular activities?
I am in NHS, BETA, Mu Alpha Theta, SNHS, MLS, FYV, FCA, ASIA.
Is there a teacher that has made a good impact on you while you have been here?
Tons of teachers have had good impacts on me, but I think the one that has had the biggest impact is Ms. Wilson. She’s taught me many things in high school like perseverance and confidence in myself, which I apply in almost everything I do.
What do you like to do outside of school?
I like to play sports, play piano, and volunteer.

What is your favorite tv show/movie?
My favorite tv show is between, The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor. I don’t have a favorite movie.
What are your plans for after high school?
My plan after high school is to go to college, but I may take a gap year to figure out what profession I want to do.
Is there anything you would like to add about your high school experience?
High school has been an amazing experience for the most part and I’ve learned many things that have helped me grow into a better person.
