Cecil Pham is a junior at Apopka High School. The Blue and White interviewed Cecil about their favorite things, fashion, and school life.
What grade are you in?
11th grade.
What’s your favorite class this year and why?
Medical Interventions (Mr. Fairchild) or piano (Mr. Ellis) because the teachers are nice.
What students and teachers have made an impact on you?
Brady, Olivia, and Shila probably because we’ve been friends since middle school.
What does your daily routine look like?
After school I immediately fall asleep and don’t get up until about 12 because I’m so tired. But on weekends I also rot in friends but I do go out with my friends once in a while.
Have you noticed that junior year is a lot harder than freshman and sophomore year?
Oh, most definitely. Junior year, I think, is the worst, probably because of the classes I chose which is my fault.
What are some of your favorite music artists?
Currently, it would be Plastic Tree.
What are some songs by them that you would recommend?
“Ghost”, “Mime (マイム)”, and my current favorite is “hate red, dip it (loudest sound edition)”.
How would you describe your fashion sense?
My fashion sense mostly comes from Visual Kei, a Japanese alt sub-style, which is goth and punk in a big mess.
What’s your favorite TV show or movie?
I don’t really watch a lot of stuff, but my favorite movie is “Kamikaze Girls”.
What are your plans after high school?
Leave Florida. I don’t have any plans; I just want to leave Florida.
Do you have a career choice in mind?
Something in the medical field, probably a pediatrician.
