Things ranging from misogynistic, rude, ableist, or downright inappropriate. Despite this, she has continued down a long road of accomplishments. According to her online biography, Greta was “Invited to speak at the UN Climate Action Summit in New York City, which took place in September 2019, Thunberg travelled across the Atlantic on a zero-emissions yacht, accompanied by her father and a supporting crew. ” She was noted for her blunt speaking style, and iconic line of “I don’t want you to listen to me, I want you to listen to the scientists.” Following this, Greta continued to grab the attention of social media and world leaders alike; constantly bringing in headlines. With a Nobel peace prize nomination and a Person of the Year spot in Time Magazine, Greta Thunberg claims she isn’t finished– and that she doesn’t plan on finishing anytime soon. It isn’t a stretch to say that this won’t be the last heard from her.
